ooh busy week


Friday... - helped clean and pack....went to SD
he really worked most of Friday night...I made homemade pizza and waited til 10 30 when he got home...

Saturday... - M went to work and was in surgery all morning...so I dingled around. We went and looked at his truck... He is restoring his dads old 1947 CHevy Thriftmaster... I picked the paint color and we did the "oh deer i hope its a good color cuz we can't change it now look" *L

it was a great colour... [img]tongue.gif[/img]

then he went back into work..and I went to BED !!!

we watched a movie...and he went back to and did surgery from about 5ish to 10 30ish...he missded the fireworks =(.... but i stood outside on my tiptoes and saw most!

Sunday we went to brunch when he got out of work and then i left...for home....


Sunday morning my Mom fell on her way to the bathroom. 2 people were helping her and she was using a walker. She ended up going to the emergency room and received 14 stitches thru her eyebrow. She bit her lip and also recieved a beautiful black eye.... and sprained her wrist.

Sunday afternoon we all had one last family meal at home. We grilled burgers and brats... had potato salad, cole slaw and deviled eggs. Home grown tomatoes and strawbeery shortcake and homemade whip cream to end it.


Monday ... we had a small coffee party and M came to my Mom's house at around 10. We went to the nursing home and got some info and moved her dresser, nightstand, doodads and stuffs. My MOm moved in around 2. We expected her to have her hands pryed off the arm rests of her chair..e.tc..... but she was stoic...and didn't say anything really all day... no tears, no nothing... She held my fav stuffed moose and patted its butt like a baby... I think she was just trying to console herself.... so so so very sad. I left the nursing home around 5... M and I went out for dinner and he took off for home. I cried the rest of the night til about 4 AM. That is after my sister snarled at me out of stress.... it's lovely I tell ya....

Today I got up and went over to my Moms house around 10ish.... worked all day, visited my Mom and am now home for a few minutes...

Need to dust my guest room and change the linens... my sister is moving in tonight? tomorrow? i dunno....


im alive...just exhausted...

i start school tomorrow... and i have that f***in garage sale to worry about...

then... i hope to relax a bit....

if im still alive *L

Im glad to hear your mom is ok and safe. I'll bet her head hurts poor thing! You know she was trying to be strong for all of you guys. She will do her best i know it! You all have done so much for her to keep her safe and take care of her..

Im glad your sister is coming there for awhile it will be good for you to have someone around right now.
